This seminar discusses financial management and negotiation of legal documents. The key points for a successful production of a film will be, how to economize and manage budgets for projects once a budget is in place and how to negotiate and handle legal contracts surrounding film production without future legal problems.

Anuj Khosla, Head Administrator and accountant at EyeSteelFilm
Bob Moore will introduce the legal aspects of financing a film production and answer questions like, how to negotiate and draw legal contracts for a production team or director? And how to negotiate all of the conditions for producers, directors, without encountering legal issues?
Anuj Khosla will present how to manage the financial structure to economize expenses under a tight budget from the beginning till the end of production. Examples from EyeSteelFilm's previous production projects will be discussed for further illustration.
This seminar is geared towards Canadian independent and emerging artists practicing to navigate the professional filmmaking environment, and also for established filmmakers who are seeking to gain knowledge about economizing production budgets and solving legal problems for multiple projects managed simultaneously .
Note: 30 seats are reserved for professionals and a maximum of 10 seats are given to cinema and film students.
